Netdata Welcomes Bessemer in New $14.2M Funding

We are pleased to announce that Netdata has completed a new round of financing totaling $14.2M led by Bessemer Venture Partners, with participation from existing investors Bain Capital Ventures and Uncorrelated Ventures. This round brings its total raised to $32.5M, only two years after the company’s initial investment led by Marathon Venture Capital, making Netdata the fastest growing Greek startup ever and one of the most promising companies globally in the sector of infrastructure monitoring.

The funding extends the company’s Series A round and is a recognition of their great progress. The adoption of the open-source Netdata Agent is significant with more than 5,000 new users added each day and more than 3 million users total worldwide! The team also introduced the new Netdata Cloud software-as-a-service offering, a cloud-based console for performance monitoring of systems and applications, empowering teams to work together in parallel to streamline troubleshooting workflows, driving down incident response times. Moreover, Netdata was recently recognized as one of the twenty Forbes Cloud 100 Rising Stars, a prestigious award given to the most cutting edge startups of the cloud industry.

Netdata’s growth will be further accelerated with the participation of Bessemer Venture Partners, the most high-caliber venture capital firm that has invested in a Greek startup. Bessemer is known from its investments in some of the most successful technology companies globally such as Shopify, Pinterest, Linkedin, Pagerduty, Twilio and Wix. The new round of financing will enable the team to build upon its community momentum to deliver innovative solutions in both its open source project and future commercial products, as well as further grow its R&D efforts, adding more talented people in its remote-first team.

We can’t wait to see what else Costas and the team will deliver in the coming years and their journey towards radically simplifying IT infrastructure monitoring and troubleshooting. Also, we are welcoming Amit Karp from Bessemer to the board of directors and we look forward to a long running and fruitful collaboration.

Netdata is hiring remotely and also in Athens & San Francisco.
