Lenses.io Series A

We are excited that 83 North has led a Series A financing for Lenses.io, formerly known as Landoop. It is a recognition of the tremendous progress the company has made in serving global corporations in their journey to adopt DataOps practices. Businesses building modern data architectures face challenges in acquiring the skills to deploy and operate data-driven applications while applying the necessary governance and security. Lenses.io powers a new data consumption, processing and sharing model, enabling every data persona to contribute as organisations become data-driven via DataOps.

Lenses.io has managed to serve 7 Fortune 100 customers within a year and a half after launching their eponymous product. What is most impressive is that pretty much the founders did it by themselves without actually expensive salespeople or a huge marketing budget. The market is pulling the product. Large software vendors already the value of Lenses.io. Microsoft already introduced Lenses to its customer base. More strategic partnerships are already brewing up.

This traction didn’t go unnoticed and Lenses.io very quickly secure a Series A round led by 83 North. Laurel Bowden, managing partner at 83 North will join the board of directors bringing immense experience from well-known high-growth startups like Workable, iZettle, JustEat & Hybris.

We look forward to seeing what else Antonis, Christina and the team at Lenses.io deliver in the coming years. We are confident that you will be hearing more and more about Lenses.io in the years to come as they become the de-facto control plane for data flows in organizations of all sizes.
